Jersey Airport (JER)
Facilities and Services

(Jersey, Channel Islands)

Jersey Airport is the main gateway to Jersey and it has convenient connections to other Channel Islands.

The airport serves thousands of tourists and business travellers each year and it is particularly busy during the summer months. The terminal has just one level, with Arrivals situated in one wing and Departures in the other wing.

Jersey Airport is small and compact, with just enough facilities and amenities to make the terminal comfortable for visitors who generally do not have long to wait for their departure or for arriving passengers.

The terminal has limited business and conference facilities. However, it has Wi-Fi Internet access throughout, ATM machines, some quality shopping outlets and a good range of restaurants, cafés and bars as well as extensive disabled facilities.

Jersey Airport is small, compact and easy to get around. As you enter the terminal, you'll find Arrivals and Baggage Reclaim to your right, while Ticketing and Departures is on your left. The Departures Hall has most of the shopping outlets, restaurants, bars and cafés, while the Arrivals wing has tour operator counters, car hire booths and ground transportation information. The airport information desk is located in Departures, after the Check-in area. Information, security and medical staff at Jersey Airport are consistently given praise for their helpfulness. Some useful numbers include:

General Enquiries - +44 1534 446000
Flight Information - +44 1534 446000 (option 2)

Shops, Duty-Free and Retail Outlets

The Jersey World Duty Free store in the Departures Hall has a wide range of standard items such as bags, alcohol, tobacco, perfume and cosmetics. There is also a newsagent selling a wide range of print media and souvenirs in the Departures area.

Bars, Cafés and Restaurants

There are eateries in both halls of the airport. Departures has the excellent Island Market, which, where possible, serves dishes using locally sourced produce. Nearby is The Bar, which has a full range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The World News Café in the Arrivals Hall offers snacks and light bites. Additionally, the airport has several vending machines that provide snacks as well as hot and cold drinks.

Currency Exchange, Communications and Banking Facilities

Surprisingly, Jersey Airport has no currency exchange facilities, so you will need to change your money before you arrive. There are two ATM machines in the Departures Hall. Post boxes are supplied in both the Arrivals and Departures halls, and stamps are available from the De la Mare Florist in the Departure's Hall, opposite the information desk. Wi-Fi Internet access is provided throughout the terminal building.

Business and Conference Facilities

The airport has limited business and conference facilities, perhaps due to its proximity to large towns, which offer ample amenities for business travellers. However, the airport does have two VIP lounges operated by British Airways and Flybe, which can offer some business equipment and rooms for visitors.

Disabled Facilities

Jersey Airport fully complies with EU standards on persons with reduced mobility. All essential areas of the airport are located on the ground floor. All public areas of the terminal are wheelchair-friendly and there are adapted toilets and telephones across the airport. All three car parks have designated parking spaces reserved for the mobility-impaired. Airlines can provide wheelchairs and assistance can also be arranged through the airport information desk.
